The FlipTop
Storage Desk is well suited to students who need a place to put their
supplies. It has a large tilting work surface (22 x 15) and the surface
lifts to reveal a storage compartment: 17"w x 11"h x 1 11/16"d. Because
both sides of the work surface are supported by a ball-joint, the surface can be
tilted, shifted from right to left, or
swung to one side for transfers.
The Air Spring Lifter helps to ease lifting and lowering of the flip-top.
Complete the system with mounting brackets (2) MYDS-0007 (@
$159.90/pair/system- additional). This will attach to vertical or
horizontal frame, round or square tube from 3/4 to 1 1/4 diameter. Or order the

The FlipTop Double Storage
system was designed for those individual who likes to have their laptop computer
stored inside the compartment and still have the option of the work surface.
Compartment specification : 17w x 11h x 3 3/8d total height.
Actual depth is 1 11/16 with unique opening lid that gives you the double storage
capacity as illustrated at left view.

90 Degree Elbow

The 90 degree Elbow assembly is used
to connect the work surface to the standard Direct Mounting Bracket (MYDS-0007)
or the Angular Mounting Bracket (MYDS-0006). This part consists of an L-shaped aluminum cast
with a collar and tightening knob at one end. The elbows unique slotted
groove allows for distance adjustments at any point - a simple twist of the
hex-bolt from the mounting bracket will grip or release the elbow.

Height Adjustment
Ball-Joint Assembly

Ball-Joint housing assembly is available as a separate component for those
who are interested in customizing a special system. This part includes a
built-in 3 height adjustment with clutch type L-handle to clamp the ball-joint.
Together with the
MYDS-0008 bracket (not included) it can be converted to
a more versatile joy-stick mount or a camera holder.

This unique angular mount bracket can
rotate before and after it has been mounted. The desk mounting hole
has a 1 diameter bore. It is Ideal for diagonal and/or curved frames
where mounting can be difficult. You simply loosen the four set screws
to change the angle of the work surface as desired. Adapts to round or
square tube frames with diameters from 3/4 to 1 1/2.

Direct Mounting Bracket

This is a non-adjustable rigid bracket
constructed from solid aluminum. To mount simply tighten four screws into two
clamp-plates as shown in the illustration to the left. It will mount on vertical or
horizontal tubes, round or square from 3/4 to 1 1/4 in diameter
and has a 1" diameter bore. This bracket is
not for diagonal or curved frames.
