Evaluations and Installation

Our staff can provide you with everything you need for you Assistive Technology solutions including evaluations, installation, training and support.  Every solution is customized to meet the client’s needs.

We believe in assessing a person’s needs in their entirety.   We provide evaluations at our facility and at client specified locations.  Our evaluations are extensive and include written reports and detailed floor plans if needed.  We analyze the needs of the individual and provide a detail plan that will address those needs from the time you wake and begin your day until it is time for bed or your entire school schedule including note taking, class work, and homework.

 We provide evaluations available for:

·        Environmental control and adaptation for both home and office needs to give the user maximum control of the world around them.

·    Computer access in both educational and professional environments to provide the user with the technology and required training to get them productive in work and/or school.

·    Home and/or office modifications to meet particular disability needs and to provide an individual with access to the world around them.

·    SUREHANDS Lift and Care Systems in client’s homes, assisted living facilities, and special needs facilities.  We evaluate for assisted and independent use to provide the user with transferring options such as, in and out of bed, a wheel chair, the bath or shower, the toilet, a couch or recliner.  We also evaluate for recreational needs whether it be gait training, aquatic therapy, or hippo therapy.

SUREHANDS evaluations are provided at no cost in NC and VA only.

We have installation and training available on most products that we offer.  Our knowledgeable staff can provide you with professional installation on training on all of the products that we offer.   In cases that require design of custom products, let us do the work for you.
