Quikscribe Workflow
Manager
The Quikscribe
Workflow Manager is a powerful, easy to use management system. It allows an office supervisor to effortlessly
manage all audio files in the organization, control workflow and measure
staff performance.
Every file created by the Quikscribe Recorder contains a small unique
database within it. This small internal database is the key to the Quikscribe Management System, as it keeps track of each files history
e.g. Author's details, date and time created, date and time sent,
subject, file priority, file length, instructions, comments, typist's
details, file status, billable hours etc.
As a result,
supervisors can manage files by viewing how much typing is waiting in
the queue(s), file priority, what files are currently being transcribed,
by whom, the percentage completed and estimated time of completion.
Workflow can be substantially improved because supervisors can change
the position of files within a queue or allocate the work to appropriate
staff. Typing overflow can be electronically transferred to another
office manually or automatically once workloads reach a pre-determined
backlog level.
The Quikscribe
Workflow Manager can be used to accurately assess staff performance
levels as well as produce historical reports. For example: typists'
performances can be compared by measuring the number of files typed,
coupled with the length of the audio files, against actual typing time.
