Dragon NaturallySpeaking Software Training

Classes are offered the second Thursday and Friday and also, the fourth Friday and Saturday of each month except on holidays.

Day 1, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Lunch supplied

Introduction to speech recognition and hardware requirements for good performance

Configuring the computer for Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Create and maintaining high recognition levels

Proper selection, correction, and text revision techniques

Proper dictation of numbers, characters and letters

Saving created documents

The use of playback and text-to-speech

Review the menus in Dragon Naturally Speaking

After each topic there is a question and practice session.

Day 2, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Lunch supplied

The use of existing commands and controls in Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Copying text between applications

The use of Mouse functions

Adding words to vocabulary

Creating dictation shorthand

The use of vocabulary builder

Creating new vocabularies

Creating new commands

Editing existing commands and modifying new commands

Time permitting, use of the recorder and downloading text

Review of course and summary

After each topic there is a question and practice session

Pricing: Day 1 only $395.00, Day 1 and 2 is $595.00

Private training and software integration at our facility is available for $495.00 per day. This includes, class from 9am to 4pm with lunch provided.
