The Access Wobble Switch can be easily adapted for a variety of uses in one's environment. Adaptivation’s Pal Pad switch will activate by applying only 1.2 ounces of force. They can be activated with the slightest touch whether it comes from directly above or at a shallow angle. Pal Pads are flat membrane switches approximately 1/10th of an inch thick yet are very rigid and durable. They are designed to be tolerant of rough usage. The Mini Pal Pad measures 2” x 2”, the Small Pal Pad measures 2.5” x 4” and the Large Pal Pad measures 4.5” x 6”, making it one of the largest adaptive switches available. The Self-Calibrating Auditory Tone Infrared (SCATIR) Switch is a momentary-contact optical switch with auditory feedback.

The SCATIR switch works by detecting a beam of reflected pulsed infrared light.

It is suitable for use with a variety of control gestures, such as eye-blink, eyebrow movement, finger movement, head movement, and facial muscle movement. It can be activated at a distance so the controlling body part does not need to be in physical contact with the switch sensor.
