When
using a SUREHANDS sling a spreader bar is required.
We have two and four
point spreader bar systems. When combined with the multi-loop features of
SUREHANDS slings a caregiver can distribute the patient's body weight for
maximum comfort and functionality.
Perfect Weight Distribution
The four point spreader bar can be positioned in a
reclining, sitting, or inclined position. This is determined by a
combination of front and rear loop attachments. For example, the longest
length in the front and shortest in the back will raise the user to a sitting
position.
The bar is bow shaped so that the patient's head is out of
the way during initial lifting. Once the patient is lifted, the
curved shape also prevents the patient's vision from being obstructed so the
actions of the caregiver can be easily followed.
Quick and Safe To Put On
The sling is quickly put on and removed reducing transfer
time.
One Lift Two Systems
Many of our SUREHANDS systems provide a quick change from
body support to spreader bar and back. This works great where multiple
individuals with different needs must be transferred.
