Used to  transfer between two objects of somewhat equal height.  Designed for independent use such as wheelchair to car  or wheelchair to bed transfers.

Great for transferring to soft mattresses.  The slide is lined with a cushioned layer which makes it ideal for transferring horizontally when there is a slight change in surface elevations.

Saves time and effort when frequently repositioning.  Enhances the patients comfort by keeping from sagging in bed or in a chair.

Placed on the floor to assist with standing pivot transfers.  The patient's feet are placed firmly on the disk and the caregiver places one of their feet between the clients feet control the rotation. This reduces torsion in the knee, back, and twisting movements of the hip and pelvic joints. 

Ideal for less mobile people and wheelchair users who have difficulty turning themselves.  For example, when getting in or out of the car or getting in and out of bed.

For full or partial support during transfers.  Used in combination with a sliding sheet when shifting  a person's legs or placing them higher in bed.
